Mike Whittingham teaches mainly Sociology in Kingston University.


Getting to the point, putting concepts in their political and historic context, making time to talk to students, not being overly formal, generally making lectures more relaxed and therefore more enjoyable.


Being fully prepared for lectures with OHPs etc, but admittedly some students may not find this a problem.


Creates a good atmosphere that makes lectures and seminars less boring and dry than they can be with some academics.
